About Program

The BS Education is a four-year degree program designed to prepare future educators with the knowledge, practical skills, and professional understanding required for effective teaching and learning. The curriculum covers key areas such as educational psychology, curriculum development, teaching methods, classroom management, assessment, and subject-based pedagogy.

Students gain practical exposure through teaching practice, classroom activities, and internship-based learning in real educational settings. The program helps graduates develop the ability to support both academic progress and personal development of learners, preparing them for professional roles in schools, colleges, and other educational organizations.

Graduates may pursue careers as teachers, education coordinators, curriculum developers, academic counselors, and other education-related professionals.

Objectives

  1. Develop the foundational knowledge and professional skills required for effective teaching and educational practice.
  2. Prepare prospective teachers to understand educational theory, classroom practice, curriculum, and learner development.
  3. Build subject knowledge across selected academic streams, including Biological Sciences, Languages, and Physical Sciences.
  4. Strengthen students’ ability to apply teaching strategies, classroom management techniques, and appropriate assessment practices in educational settings.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Academic Qualification: Candidates holding an Intermediate certificate with at least 45% marks, A-Levels with an IBCC equivalency certificate, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution are eligible to apply.
  • Entry Test / Aptitude Interview: Applicants are required to pass an entry test or aptitude interview conducted by the university as part of the admission process.
