BS Radiology and Imaging Technology

About Program

The BS Radiology and Imaging Technology (Allied Health Sciences) program prepares students for professional roles in diagnostic imaging by combining scientific knowledge with practical clinical training. The curriculum covers radiological sciences, medical imaging procedures, radiographic techniques, radiation physics, anatomy, patient care, and safe use of ionizing radiation.

Students develop the skills required to operate modern imaging equipment, carry out diagnostic imaging procedures, maintain image quality, follow radiation-protection and patient-safety standards, and assist with specialized imaging examinations. The program also promotes ethical practice, research awareness, and accurate clinical support for healthcare teams working in hospitals, diagnostic centers, and related medical facilities.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Academic Qualification: Applicants must have completed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (12 years of schooling) in the Pre-Medical group, or hold an IBCC-equivalent qualification, to be eligible for admission.
  • Admission Test / Merit: The university may prescribe additional or higher admission standards and may require an entry or admission test conducted through its own testing system or a reputable external testing service, according to the screening, admission, and merit criteria approved by the relevant statutory bodies.
