The BS Diet & Nutrition (Allied Health Sciences) program builds a strong foundation in human nutrition, dietetics, food science, therapeutic nutrition, community nutrition, and nutritional assessment. Students develop the knowledge and practical abilities needed to understand nutritional needs and the relationship between diet, health, and disease.
The program prepares future nutrition professionals to assess dietary requirements, plan balanced and therapeutic diets, support healthy eating and disease prevention, provide nutrition education and counseling, and apply evidence-based practices. Graduates can contribute to clinical nutrition, community and public health programs, research, wellness services, and other nutrition-related healthcare settings.
